The nationally recognised GolfMark accreditation shows that the clubs provide a welcoming, accessible, fun and most importantly SAFE environment in which juniors and beginners can mature and learn the game.
Helen Tarttelin, County Development Officer who worked with the clubs through the accreditation process commented "Although the two clubs provide a very different golf offering to juniors and beginners in terms of facilities, course type and membership, both are excellent examples of what can be done to encourage new members and implement systems to enhance the playing experiences of juniors, who will hopefully go on and play golf for the rest of their lives"
